After you have finished your order on
www.voyages-sncf.com, you will receive your 6 letter file reference on the order confirmation page.

It is also sent to you at the e-mail address that you entered when making your reservation.

If you have not got your 6 letter file reference, you can find your reservation using the on-line search engine (only accessible in French).
Your should enter the following criteria:
- Name and forename entered when placing the order,
- E-mail address,
- Month during which the reservation was made.

If the search engine finds your file reference, it will be automatically sent to the e-mail address entered when placing your order.

3I want to cancel or modify my train ticket reservation

You can only cancel your reservation on the Internet under certain conditions:
Your ticket can be exchanged and refunded,
You have validated the collection of the tickets at the station.
If you have chosen to have your tickets sent free to your home, you cannot cancel on the Internet until you have received the tickets and at least 48 hours before the departure only.
To cancel your reservation on www.voyages-sncf.com:
- Click on the flag of your choice (at the bottom left of the www.voyages-sncf.com home page) to access the corresponding foreign language version of the site:
- Enter your 6 letter file reference and the name associated with the order.
- You then access a summary of your reservation. Click on "delete this journey" link. A cancellation quote will be displayed according to the conditions attached to your fare.

4Complaints and claims for refunds

If you wish to make
comments about the way in which your journey went or make a
complaint to or
claim a refund from the SNCF following the purchase of a train ticket, please contact the department in charge of After-Sales services at the address below.
If your complaint concerns the purchase of a train ticket, please enclose:
- Your 6 letter file reference,
- Your original train tickets,
- A photocopy of your bank statement showing the debit related to the purchase,
- Your compete name and address (name, forenames, address and telephone number).
This department only deals with completed requests by letter.
If you have suffered a delay and want to claim compensation under the SNCF's "Service Guarantee".
When your Main Line train arrives at its destination at least 30 minutes after the advertised time for a journey of at least 100 kilometres and that delay can be attributed to the SNCF, then the SNCF undertakes, as a commercial gesture, to offer you compensation in the form of Travel Vouchers.
If you have not been handed a punctuality envelope at the destination station, send your claim by post, with your original tickets, to the following address:
