The payment cards accepted by
www.voyages-sncf.com when making on-line payments, secured in SSL mode, are:
- Banker's cards issued in France
- Credit cards issued abroad by the Eurocard, Mastercard and Visa networks

If the on-line payment has been made with a foreign card without a chip (ex.: American Express) the tickets cannot be collected from automatic ticket machines but only from SNCF ticket offices.

2My payment was refused on the site (error message)

When you give your banker's card number (16 digits without spaces with the expiry date and 3 digits from the back of the banker's card), the SNCF payment site queries the banker's card authorisation centre, which allows or refuses the debit.

The maximum number of transactions authorised per day is 3 for a daily total of 860 Euros. If you make a mistake when entering your banker's card, it is blocked for 24 hours as a security measure.
If your on-line banking transaction is refused, you cannot make your reservation again until a minimum of 24 hours have elapsed.
