Reserving at the best price

1Reserving a ticket from North America, Australia, Asia and New Zealand.

  To receive your train tickets at home in North and South America, Australia, New Zealand or Asia :

  You cannot choose North and South America, Australia, New Zealand or Asia as the country for collecting or receiving your train tickets because we cannot send tickets to home addresses in those countries.

If you want to receive your train tickets at home in one of those countries, you must reserve on :

www.raileurope.com

To reserve, pay on-line and collect your train tickets when you arrive in France:

 Click on the flag of your choice (at the bottom left of the home page) to access the corresponding foreign language version of the site : 

 To reserve your train at the best price, you should:

  1. Enter the information about your journey (departure, arrival, dates, times, passengers, service class).
    Select "Express reservation at the best price".
    Click on "Search".

  2. Click on "Advanced search
    Fill in the reservation form then validate.

    Select France (ticked by default) as the country in which to collect the tickets.

 For an "express reservation at the best price":

Select "collect your ticket from an automatic ticket machine or from station ticket offices and Boutiques" in the order confirmation page.

You must present the file reference and the banker's card used for the on-line payment with the associated PIN in order to collect your train tickets.

If the on-line payment has been made with a foreign card without a chip (ex.: American Express) the tickets cannot be collected from automatic ticket machines but only from SNCF ticket offices.

To print your train ticket at home:

If you pay on-line and select one of these fares: Prem’s, Last Minute Offer, Smilys, Print & Go or iDTGV only, you can choose "Billet Imprimé" as the ticket collection option and print your ticket at home.

 To reserve your train at the best price, you should :

  1. Enter the information about your journey (departure, arrival, dates, times, passengers, service class).
    Select "Express reservation at the best price".
    Click on "Search".
  2. Click on "Advanced search".
    Fill in the reservation form then validate.

 To receive your train tickets at home in a country other than France :

Follow the reservation procedure indicated above.

Select your country of delivery to receive your train tickets at home :

Select "receive your ticket free by post" in the order confirmation page.

To reserve, pay on-line and collect your train tickets when you arrive in France :

Follow the reservation procedure indicated above.

Select France (ticked by default) as the country in which to collect the tickets.

For an "express reservation at the best price":

 Select "collect your ticket from an automatic ticket machine or from station ticket offices and Boutiques " in the order confirmation page.

Select the country in which you wish to collect your train tickets. Payment on collection is only available in France, Great-Britain (London), Belgium (Brussels), Switzerland (Geneva) and Germany (Cologne).

Choose your country's currency (outside the Euro zone) once you have selected your journey :

Click on the choice "Choose a single option to be confirmed later". You will be given a limit collection / payment date and time at your country's SNCF boutique :

 Order placed  Collection/payment up to
 < 3 days before departure  30 minutes before departure
 Between 3 and 10 days before departure  2 days before departure
 Between 11 and 62 days before departure  7 days before departure

After this time, your ticket is automatically cancelled.

To print your train ticket at home :

You can reserve on www.voyages-sncf.com and pay at the station, an SNCF boutique, an accredited travel agency or an automatic ticket machine (see all our SNCF addresses worldwide).

After having chosen your journey, click on the choice "Choose a single option to be confirmed later".

You will be given a limit collection / payment date and time :

 Order placed  
 Collection/payment up to
 < 3 days before departure 
 30 minutes before departure
  Between 3 and 10 days before departure 2 days before departure
  Between 11 and 62 days before departure 7 days before departure

After this time, your ticket is automatically cancelled.

  On-line payment is mandatory for some fares

4Reserve a ticket leaving from or arriving at the Roissy Charles de Gaulle TGV station

Print this question / answer

To get a train leaving from or arriving at the Roissy Charles de GAULLE TGV station, please enter : AIRPORT CDG 2 TGV or click on the "or choose here" link and select AIRPORT CDG 2 TGV (95).

If you arrive by aircraft, allow enough time recover your luggage and transfer it to the airport's TGV station.
